In Christian mission, Digitalized and focused literature mission is one of the key Kingdom work strategies in modern day. Its transforming power is holistic and far reaching to impact human societies. God’s grace is highly honored replicamade for opening a new colored-chapter to DBS mission work. The new chapter is the publication of its Journal known as Journal of Delhi Bible Seminary (JDBS).As in any field, in theological field, language has high power to picture any abstract idea into beautiful pictures so that human mind can see God in letter-pictures; His face, hands and feet; His movements and precepts.
I am greatly thankful to God for granting this opportunity to DBS to produce its first digitalized journal for His glory. Contributory role towards the publication of the journal by the director of DBS, Rev.Prakash K. Mathew is commendable. I am gladly thankful to the chief editor, Rev.Dr.Joe Park for his active and productive involvement in forming and producing the journal. Appreciative contributions were made by every writer of articles and those who have done the book reviews.
Few words can stop horrible wars and a single idea can form world-wide peace. I have extreme hope in Christian literature ministry because it carries God’s word. All creations were formed and are sustained by the word of God. Its creative power is amazing. The word of God is God’s formula to human society to solve all social problems. Man’s science and philosophy are often proven as unworkable in connection with social crisis because they are man’s word and man’s formula. The word of God is holistic to create, recreate, transform, and enlighten human being into perfection. As DBS is opening a new chapter in the form of publishing a journal which carries the word of God I am hopeful that there will be academic miracles in various levels; its impact will be very huge .As the society is moving to the digital world producing a academic digital work is contextual and timely. It is less expensive and more productive. Without boundary it can reach all continents. I also hope that the new journal will bring an academic refreshment among all people, especially among the academia.
I prophetically vision that it is the end time; secular world is confused and spirituality is in chaotic state in the society .In this context JDBS will be a great contribution to boost the church to go further to fulfill the great commission.
The negative impact of COVID-19 is still horribly affecting the human society. The economic state is crippled and almost every country is under its devastating impacts. Jobless individuals are enormous in the world .JDBS will impact the believing and unbelieving communities to have new Bible-based perspective. The journal will have an emancipating dimension to philosophize human questions and answer. The very journal will be solution-oriented so that all peoples/ especially the believing communities will be freshly educated and be able to see the present scenarios and, be able to implement the Bible-based solution sin their life context. Therefore I hope that this journal publication can produce mass impact in the life of the believers for the glory of God.
